Thank you for the great article on comedienne Phyllis Diller [“The joke’s on her,” March]. Readers may be interested in knowing Ms. Diller was the subject of an interesting, entertaining documentary film titled Good Night, We Love You, about her last year on the road. The film won the best documentary award at last fall’s San Diego Film Festival. Ms. Diller also won the Governor’s Award at the festival. This award honors stars who have excelled in film, theater and TV. She was described as “crossing over these media with grace, style and poise, while continuing to make us laugh.”
