Phyllis Diller is the queen of one-liners. As if armed with a machine gun, she fired jokes with the precision of an expert marksman. This documentary retraces Diller’s career (for 10 years, she played piano with symphonies) and follows the 84-year-old legend as she takes her final stand-up bow. She also gives a tour of her home — letting the camera into her wig room, her closets, her kitchen and her luggage. Diller might appear in some future films or television, but she’s never going back onstage again. April 24 at 5 p.m.
